Thank you for posting this. Sometimes Glenn uses elaborate headlines to reel you into a so-so story. This was different. This is what Christmas and true charity are about. He has proven his worth over the years by watching over their children and keeping a good attitude.
True. Plus he is retired, his wife is ill and getting worse, times are tough for them both, but he is still untiringly working as a crossing guard looking out for the children.
We need more unselfish and caring men like this in our communities, I believe, and I am glad that some people saw the good in him and gave him a little something that can help him.
Yes, I loved seeing his reaction in this story. As well as the smiles on the dads faces when they presented his gift to him. Think I’ll say a special prayer for him tonight, and his wife. Looks like they deserve a few. :)
Great story ..Glenn is still a raving lunatic. His followers a almost as bad!
I don’t know, freepers. I watched the video and just felt the white privilege oozing out of the gift givers, who — just by spending money — put themselves in a position of power over this black (sorry, Black) man. I think they should have checked their privilege at the door and not given him anything. He’d have been much happier that way.
