Slightly off topic, but this shows how stupid the airlines policy of not allowing the name on a ticket to be changed. I once had a trip set up for a friend who can not attend, and the airline would not allow me to give it to another freind. What’s the big deal? It is my purchase, all it takes is a couple of keystrokes that I can do myself. But, I could have just found someone with the same name as friend, or at least an ID with that name on it.

Yep it’s stupid. Had round trip tickets for me and niece in June. She would up in the hospital at the last minute and couldn’t go. Didn’t cost them any more or less for that empty seat.
