Formerly the "Fans of Quinn and Rose Discussion" thread, our group been meeting here since 2008. We still hold out hope that our favorite talk show hosts will come back on the air but, whether they do or not, our friendly group will still meet to start the day. So if you are preparing to go to work, are getting home from work - or happily retired - stop in and say mornin' and share the latest news, discuss the weather, share a recipe, or whatever!

I was replying to P6 on yesterday’s thread just now...
The noreaster missed SW PA...but east coast getting blasted. I was just commenting too how I have nada CHRISTMAS spirit this year. Son got out the “boxes” and I just don’t have the drive to do all this stuff. I feel like the Kranks (but w/o the sweet cruise as the reason for “skipping” the busy stuff).
I’ll get this all done. By January i swear.
Morning Peng! Just enjoying my coffee as well. Took today and tomorrow off to do cleaning and baking. Got to take Mr S to work. Getting depressed reading the threads here on Free Republic.
I was checking out the Constitution Party. Can’t find any chapter here in Indiana, Pa. I have toyed with the idea of changing parties but think it will be a waste of time. Some good potential candidates coming up in the Repub party, so I’ll most likely stay where I am.
Well, QUINN is having a Merry Christmas...just checked his Twitter feed and he has a photo up of his new Z06 Corvette. Retirement is treating him good...(personally, my “dream” vehicle is a practical yet optioned out Jeep Grand Cherokee...come on PowerBall!)

We have been putting up decorations a little at a time. Might have them all up by Christmas! We have all the gifts sitting on the floor next to the tree - UNWRAPPED! lol! We’ll probably wrap the day before Christmas - including the gifts we are giving each other. We decided to get each other a tv and a Roku stick for our bedroom. Quite frankly, I don’t think we need a tv in the bedroom, but Mr S wants one. If he gets the knee replacement, he’ll have to sleep downstairs for awhile, so I guess I’ll have it all to myself!
Nah, that tv will move with him!
I know! Nothing is done here. Things started, nothing done. Still some gifts to buy (not even doing too much this year due to wedding and now unemployment). I hope you get your bedrooom TV...PaDad drools over 55 or 60 inchers at Target/Walmart (we started our TV quest last year and have never been able to buy one...as I keep telling him, seeing the puck on Penguin TV games is overrated...Errey&Steigy will let us know where it is!)

So glad the Nor’Easter missed us again. The older I get, the more I dread driving in snow.
I wish I could get past the stress of gift buying and wrapping and get around to putting up a few decorations in my house, but I’m afraid I’ll have to settle for the window candles and the fiber optic table tree again.

I got slammed at work yesterday. Very busy, which is good, but leaves this head hurting by 5 pm.
I’m listening to Christmas music, but that’s about all the spirit I have this year. I haven’t done any shopping. I’m taking vacation on the 24th and will return Jan 6th to work. I’m going to go see my Mom in Tucson...counting it down :)
Morning Peng. Slept in. I don’t have the usual Christmas spirit either. Maybe as it gets closer. It will be grandbaby’s first Christmas but she’s too young to get excited about it!
