Voters who bet on Republicans in the midterm election now have another GOP favorite on whom to place their money.
A race horse owner in the Ohio district that Speaker of the House John Boehner (R) represents has honored the longtime congressman by naming one of his new horses “Weeper of the House,” as reports the Daily Advocate.
I follow (and play) the horses on occasion and saw another horse the other named after Obama. I think it's name was "Obama Vows" or "Obama" something. Can't really remember but I do know it came out of the 1 post at 31-1. I kid you not, he ran dead last! lol

It’s an Indiana bred gelding and has only run in Indiana. Too bad they don’t run him at Thistledown or Mahoning Valley.

Do you recall the horse named Impeachment that ran in the Derby among other graded races about 15 years ago? Just sayin’. :-)
He was third in the Preakness and Kentucky derby, Was he named because of Clinton?

It’s actually doing better since the casino’s open. The purses are bigger and the Ohio bred races are really nice. The surface is one of the best around to train on.
Glad to hear it. The locale has suffered so much job loss of industry over the years (mine included). They can use all the jobs they can get.
