E-cigarettes appear here to stay: So put that in your mod and vape it

In the laboratory of the California Vaping Co., Dakoda Collins mixed up one of his signature potions. Wearing a surgical mask and gloves, he carefully measured out colorless, liquid nicotine from a plastic jug.

He drew the nicotine into a fat syringe, then shot it into a large glass beaker of amber fluid, where it would be swirled with an industrial-strength immersion blender and gently heated.

Collins, 26, makes high-quality e-liquids, the fluid used in electronic cigarettes. This batch was a custom flavor, Cut Strawberry, made for a local chain of vaping stores. The room smelled like a bakery full of delicious, slightly chemical treats.

Last month, Oxford Dictionaries lexicographers announced they'd chosen "vape" as 2014's word of the year. My family Christmas card is based on the word of the year, so I needed a tutorial. Collins was happy to be my guide.

1996-2001 Vape had an entirely different meaning, owing to a relatively small online game known as “The 4th Coming”

With states legalizing marijuana one vote after another, I think people are making it clear that it's their choice, not the government's nor people with nothing better to do than stick their noses in others' business.

Sad times for prohibitionists.

Law Suit Heaven

I don think so. The smoke is made up of propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin. These two solvents are used as food additives and are in just about any processed food.

First Legal hurtle: Separation, proving the harmful effect came from the e-cig not processed food.

Second Legal hurtle: FDA approval, these compounds are FDA approved, which is a very tough process to get though. Any scientific evidence would run directly contrary to the established testing and would be suspect.

I am using a vape to get off cigarettes... two weeks in... so far I’m down from 2 packs of cigarettes per day to 1/2 pack. Working to be off cigs completely by the end of this month.

Speaking from experience, you need to quit the cigs cold turkey or you’ll end up being hooked on both.
