I never snark at black women's hairstyles. It's very hard to do things with it. I cut slack where it's deserved. Soap, water, intellect, and manners is all a decent woman ever needs.

So at least mooch has her hair going for her............................

I was at a big box store a week ago. The checkout gal was a pretty young Black gal. She had a sort of flat-top hair style, but it was cut on an angle. I told her that her “do” looked great, and that she looked great with it. I was rewarded with a smile that lit up the whole store, and a very modest “Thank you!” Made my day.

It may be her hair now but most of it came from the wig store.
