Protesters across America this week chanted I cant breathe in honor of Eric Garner, the Staten Island man who died after being placed in an apparent chokehold by a New York City Police Department officer this past July. The phrase also happened to be a line spoken by a black actor in a Wal-Mart television commercial, which has now been removed following criticism that it reminded viewers of Garners death.

Why do corporations insist on alienating large percentages of their consumers? Why can’t they just stay neutral?
Walmart has been on my “no shopping” list for years. If you’ll truly check the prices you’ll see that over all they’re higher than any of their competitors.
Carl’s Jr has good biscuits. Good biscuits ain’t enough to get my business.
Most Walmart items are bad quality, anyways.
I don’t know when was the last time I ate Carl’s Jr. Not for 5 years, I think.
Pardon my obvious racism but, “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” will be next.
