Silicon Valley homeless no longer welcome in 'the Jungle'

Veiled by the yellow willows and brush along a forgotten creek bed in San Jose, hundreds of people jerry-built a treehouse and constructed underground bunkers and ramshackle lean-tos to form one of the nation's largest homeless encampments.

The 68-acre shantytown is just minutes away from downtown and the high-tech giants that made Silicon Valley one of the world's most opulent locations. For years, the city turned a blind eye to "the Jungle." But the camp along the muddy bank of Coyote Creek has become more crowded in recent years and is awash in rotting trash, rats and human waste — so bad that the endangered steelhead trout have essentially disappeared.

After years of halfhearted cleanups, city officials on Thursday plan to begin shutting down the Jungle for good.

Liberal war on poor people. I guess Zuckerberg no longer could stand the stench of these people living in his backyard.

Ya what’s going on here?

Aren’t we supposed to be liberal towards the homeless and let them p&$%, sh##$,and sleep wherever they want??? Were supposed to tolerate them panhandling because we are being compassionate. At least this is what liberals have told us about the homeless.

Maybe that’s what Guns and Roses was writing about when they produced the song, “Welcome To The Jungle.”

There has ever been people that for whatever reason can not/ will not do what we all must do; IE

follow the rules of survival, get a job, entry level and learn to earn a living, being constant in performing the job they have. The great depression of the 1930’s had many hobo's riding the train rails and asking for food. They did usually ask for a service they could do to pay for the meal they received. SAD state of affairs. Yet we all have a responsibility to do our part in contributing to our state of being.

Somehow food stamps and essentially free housing has not worked. The properties get destroyed and the poor are often dangerous to ordinary citizens. It is a tragic way to live. Requiring the individuals to be responsible and contributing to the process, in order to break the pattern of not supporting their own needs. . WORK, learn how to perform a service. and take charge of yourself. We all must do this. Exceptions are the children, and the severely handicapped. Let us praise the LORD for life, mercy, grace, and peace, in Jesus name, Amen.

Yes, rejoice! Let us praise and worship the LORD in truth, and love our brethren as our self, we love Thee LORD, in Jesus name, Amen.

God knows the heart of man. God bless America and turn us back to Thee and increase our faith in Thee day by day. God bless America. We repent of our sins. Amen.
