Yes, it is in the interest of the Democrat party to keep these people dependent on government, in a semi-permanent underclass. There's an active campaign happening right now. And it's working -- we are witnessing two simultaneous chapters in the Democrat's investment in such a paradigm -- dividing Americans into groups and promoting their victim status. The other chapter simultaneously happening is the immigration amnesty -- establishing another 5 million dependents, who will be made to believe they owe their subsistence (and therefore loyalty) to the Democrats.

I would add that the rioters are simply asking for more of the same injustice since they do not believe in presumption of innocence. They are helping the police state case.
