OK, so how did she get hurt in her left eye if she was the passenger? Wouldn’t it have been her right eye?
Sort of depends on which way she was looking....
Article says it shattered side window glass, so it may have imploded rather randomly. If her face was facing the side window (which seems likely give the circumstances) this is quite possible.
