It's really interesting to watch the coarsening of the grammar. It's been going on for hundreds of years. Eventually the distinction between "her" and "she" may disappear, and "her" as a subject become accepted grammar.

Correct English grammar is already much less refined than in our cousin German, and the process continues. It makes it easier for foreigners to learn English. Where English has a drawback is that our spelling is much less phonetic than French or German.
