I am not an ultimate Trekkie by any stretch, but I don't recall them dong over warp 10, what movie or episode did that occur?
That why they call it Science FICTION ;)

The 3-part finale, “All Good Things.” Riker orders the Enterprise to go to Warp 13. But in “The Changeling,” Nomad creates a weapon capable of firing on the Enterprise at Warp 15 (note this is warp, not trans-warp which would need an entirely different gauge).
In “That which survives” the Enterprise is sabatoged and makes Warp 14.1 before Scotty shuts her down.
There are others but warp theory, within the science of Star Trek, says Warp 10 is infinity.

I am not a lawyer, nor do I stay at Holiday Inn Expresses, but I love pointing out all the legal flaws in Law & Order episodes (which is how Mrs. FD and I pass most Saturday mornings).
It is hard to find a favorite, but one they trot out from time to time is a witness on the stand admits to actually doing the crime, thus alibiing the defendant (but reatnig a problem in prosecuting said witness since there is no other evidence).
From what I understand, such an admission would have to be supported by evidence and a proper foundation laid. Else all anyone would have to do to get off would be just to have a witness blurt out “I did it!”
Not just Science Fiction movies, and not just errors in science. I especially like pointing out historical errors.
Talk to your climatologist friends for destroying the credibility of science and scientists. Until then ... pthhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

The latest one I saw had a Chief wearing an Officer Surface Warfare pin the first two times we see him and an Enlisted Surface Warfare Pin the last time we see him in uniform.

Oh i get pointing out historical errors..but then ive been know to get in to debates about the wrong shade of green on a warplane in a ww2 movie.
It is a FICTIONAL MOVIE!!!!! I don’t go the movies to get facts on history, science or sociology. I go to the movies to be ENTERTAINED.
Even TV shows have errors.

I agree. Tyranosaur eating a lawyer? Unrealistic lack of professional courtesy.

I get a kick out of the tendency of movie makers to always use red tail hawk calls while showing a bald eagle, or using kookaburra calls for a supposed African setting.
I will admit though that the red tail call is more studly than the bald eagle’s natural call.

If that is the echoing cry we hear when they are depicting a desolate desert or an Indian scene, I am still trying to find it as a ringtone.
