In the last month, I had lunch at a restaurant and sat next to two chatty liberals. One lady blasted the USA as an unhealthy nation because “corporations run everything from our prescription drugs to the food industry and they have no desire for improved health because it would cut into their profits.” She then stated how we need more government controls over the food industry. In the same breath, she asked a waitress for “more Duck sauce...” Liberals are funny if not for their naivete and stupidity.
I was in my dr’s waiting room last week. I was sitting next to a nice lookng young Black man. We were watching the news. I was afraid to say anything because I thought he was a liberal. I changed my mind when he said that only the Lord Jesus could fix this country. We started talking and had a great time. His appt was before mine so he left earlier than I did. I watched him leave the office but a few minutes later, he was walking toward me. He said he just wanted me to know how much he enjoyed talking to me. My late husband use to tell me I would talk to a billy goat if he could talk. I just enjoy people and frankly at age 70, I really do not care what anyone thinks about me. I am comfortable with being myself. If someone does not like what I say, it is their loss! : )
I always try to look to the free entertainment value of liberals as a way to cope with them.
