My hopes would be that the blacks and whites (well, any race will do) of Ferguson would unite and come out in force with guns and run the media/protesters/rioters/looters/commies/muslims/undercover agents out of town on a rail.

You’re right. I wish the decent people of Ferguson had formed armed perimeters around every business the very first night instead of waiting on the police/NG to handle it. That’s what would have happened around here anyway. A few yahoos wouldn’t be allowed to burn down the businesses the rest of us rely on.
I thought that was what the NG was for-to put down the decent folk when they’ve finally had enough
