I noticed that promos for the Today show may be attempting to reconfigure Thanksgiving as a day for Americans to thank each other instead of God.

When one is tempted to worry that their sentences are tending to run on a bit, the best remedy is to pull out a few of the writings of the various Founders and rest easy !   d:^)

As a fellow Deist, I find Gen.Washington's proclamation especially poignant.
