Yesterday I went shopping at WalMart, and there was a big, brand-new display right in the middle of the store. Of all things, the Daisy BB rifle. Dozens of boxes of them. I haven't seen a Daisy Rifle since I was a little kid, and the sight of them brought back fond childhood memories. I always assumed that the gun-grabbing liberal moonbats had forced the company to stop selling them years ago. But there it was, in all its glory. And this Christmas, millions of mamas and grandmas all over America will be saying: "Be careful with that thing, or you could put an eye out!"

I think it’s “You’ll shoot your eye out!”

In fact, I was at a an Atwoods and they carried some of the older designs which looked really cool.

Great Christmas gift. Just be a little suspicious when you hear a neighbor complain about a broken window. Don’t panic when you see a few extra dead birds around.

I got my Pyramid Air catalog yesterday. I noticed the Daisy Powerline model 880 was no longer in it.

I hope they haven’t dropped it from production as it is maybe the best value in airguns there is.

If you are ever in northwest Arkansas, check out the Daisy museum in Rogers. They have a store with all sorts of interesting products.

I never bought one for my boy. It wouldn’t have impressed him after he handled and shot various calibers of rifles from when he was old enough to handle a Daisy. I have one of my own, however. I shoot palmetto bugs in the back yard with it. I get satisfaction from their tiny screams.

Only problem is there are too many places like California where the kid and you will get busted for having harmless fun.

I had a Daisy when I was a kid. My parents warned me not to shoot anyone’s eye out, so I didn’t.

Daisy’s have never gone away, and never been hard to find. Where have you been?

Yeah they are out there but they are junk. Get the Crosman 760. It’s much better.

yeah, I used to have one. From there I graduated to a double barrel shot gun. If I was a kid now I would be locked up a child detention center and my folks would probably be locked up in jail for letting have it.
