What about the PRA? (immigration)

Now it is important to think about Zero's statements. And it is important to think about the whereabouts of what is going to happen.

Zero says that within a few months, the forms will be ready and things on place for collecting the info related to his immigration plan.

My question is... what forms?

According to the Paperwork Reduction Act, the government needs to have something on each form. A "control number". And according to the PRA, there can be no penalty for failing to respond to a form that doesn't have a valid control number.

The PRA is fairly specific on what items are supposed to be on each form. It must state whether the form is voluntary or mandatory. It must contain a statement about how much time it takes the average person to fill out the form.

But even before the form gets into the users hands, the application for the form must be filed. And the application for the form must say to OMB, among other things, THE SPECIFIC STATUTORY LAW THAT ENABLED THE FORM!!

So I guess I am curious about how the government is going to get around this. I am curious how the Executive can just slap Americans in the face with a form that CAN'T POSSIBLY COMPLY WITH FEDERAL LAW!!

Any ideas?

Don’t know.

But I know that PRA was enacted in part to protect Americans from an arbitrary and capricious government collecting information.

Who says that Americans will be legally required to fill out these forms?

Who says that any penalties will be imposed for not filling out a form?

Regards,
