I’m serious about this. Yes, there would have to be a legal/political system in place that prevented socialistic policy from even being possible. At best, liberty would flourish there for a hundred or two hundred years before being corrupted irreparably. But at least it would be a bit of flotsam to hold onto as the rest of the world sinks into tyranny. What is tragic is that it could have taken another course.
