To Florida? That’d be quite an upset if FSU lost. But Florida did have a strong game against Georgia. Anything is possible in a rivalry game.

Even with one loss FSU would probably be in the top 4.

Bama winning was best case scenario for the SEC. Now they get two bites at the apple.

Excellent point. SEC Championship is another chance to pick up a loss for Bama or get injuries.

It also was great for the SEC conference. They doubled their shot at a championship. Would be nice if they put the SEC teams on opposite sides of the 4-team bracket. How is that placement determined? Just by the same group picking the top 4?

Apology for not including the sarcasm tag on the earlier post. The BIG has too much money involved in the classic bowl system (revenue sharing) to go all out in supporting the playoffs. Even Ohio State will be crying all of the way to the bank if they do not make the playoffs. As to the $EC, of course they are not the only deserving conference. Oregon, FSU, Baylor and TCU are all deserving of consideration.
