Was the co op called “wild oats” in Santa Fe ? They had such a hippie help wall as well.....
Long time ago. But I don’t think so. It was called something along the lines of the Santa Fe Food Coop, I think. (Hippies are always so creative.)
At the time we didn’t have much money. Being able to buy grains, beans and spices in bulk was a big help to us.
But I always felt like I was going undercover when I went there. “If only they knew who I really was.”
