While not technically a communist he has breathed the spirit of communism for a long time.

well, Hillary has worn muslim head scarfs and talks like a black woman, so Marxists probably have a need to imitate.

Its just a thing with that conference. They give every attendee clothes that reflects the culture of the host country. Its harmless. This is why Kerry dressed like this last year:

Every time they have these gatherings they all dress alike. President Bush and Clinton did it too.

I looked this up. It is customary for all visiting leaders to wear the attire chosen by the host country. It means nothing more than that.

"Is it some kind of sick pajama party or is it because he wants to express his solidarity with the Communists?
Costume party. It's routine.

I don’t ever recall Reagan or Bush I dressing like a clown at these conferences. I believe it was Clinton who began this silly practice.

Lurch looks more like a corpse every time I see him.

Thought just raced through my mind and if I remember correctly, when W barfed on the Japanese PM(?) he had more class than BOTH the clintoon and bo regimes have ever thought of.
When they ‘rewrite’ “The Ugly American” they will be able to base it on BO’s reign of mistrust and terror, this so called malmisadmistration starring the pResident of the US.
Us ‘drunken sailors’ on Liberty throughout the world ‘back in the day’ were better Ambassadors than this lump of Bovine Excrement.

It was Bush the Elder who blew beets on the Japanese PM. I was in a Tokyo restaurant (not seated with him) with HW Bush in 1996. He appeared to be having a very good time.

Yes,...and his name was Ronald Wilson Reagan. Just got a copy of his lefty son Ron’s bio “My Father at 100”, and though I’m very aware of the author’s lefty proclivities, it’s still a good book with plenty of great pictures and reminders of what a great man, what a great leader he was.
As for this pathetic knob that we’re saddled with right now, all I have to say is “Impeach the Bastard”.

at least they don’t do that in Germany. Would have looked silly in Lederhosen

At the first meeting [of APEC] in Seattle in 1993, then-President Bill Clinton outfitted the leaders in leather bombardier flight jackets. This fun photo-op idea subsequently became a tradition to don the national dress of APECs revolving host country; leaders wore the outfits for the photo and the rest of the day.
