But economic redistribution through penalties on the wealthy does not benefit a society in the long run because it drains the wellsprings of economic development.
That memo needs to be sent to every democrat in D.C. they must give up the socialism gig if they want to keep their party alive.

They are betting the other way. To back up their play, they are flooding us with new people for whom Socialism is just a given. Add those newbies to our home-grown Lefties and their old reliable gibsmedats, dumb down any others left over, and the odds look good to the Democrats.
