In the wake of a 2014 midterm election cycle that saw Republicans re-take control of the U.S. Senate and pad their already sizable majority in the House, a majority of Americans now want congressional Republicans, not President Obama, to have more influence over the direction of the nation in the next year.
Fifty-three percent want Republicans to have more influence over the direction of the country compared to 36 percent who want Mr. Obama to have more, according to Gallup.
The 17-point gap is even greater than the eight-point, 49 percent-to-41 percent advantage the GOP held after the 2010 midterm elections, as well as a nine-point advantage Republicans had over President Clinton after the 1994 midterms.

Hey Mitch! Hey John! Do you see this? The American people do not want you to compromise and cut deals with the president or the Democratic Party. It’s time to lead and leave the Democrats in the dust. Get that through your heads!
gop-eSTAB don’t ‘get messages’. That’s why Cruz has to go over, around and under them in order to build House and Senate coalitions.
Boehner and McConnell have so much dirty laundry and they are compromising our nation by being the leaders in the house and senate. The Dems have dossiers on these two losers so don’t count on Mitch and John to do squat. We need new blood and frankly some cajones in the lead. I hope the conservatives in the house and senate rise up and rebel against the establishment It doesn’t matter what the GOP does, and who their leaders are. They’re gonna get crucified by the national media and the Dems, but we can’t compromise anymore with the other side. Boehner and McConnell are guaranteed to roll over.

Statistical generalizations aside, what exactly is this so-called national agenda?
And who is defining this national agenda?
And what constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited power clauses are being referenced (ahem) to justify this national agenda?
Oh trust me..I dont hang onto polls...BUT...I do believe in printing it out and using it more then a carving knife this Thanksgiving on liberal relatives.
And right now we should be building each other up with good news. Its been too long. The moral of things like this is worth basking in to reenergize our fight.
“Poll: Americans Want GOP Congress, Not Obama, to Set National Agenda”
Have it printed on your Thanksgiving napkins. Really get them going.
“Hey Fred...my wonderful Obama voting brother in law.....would you like a piece of HUMBLE PIE to wash down some of that turkey?”.....
Agree with a poll for the first time...
