American politicians of all stripes clearly see and oppose the abuses of the Internet abroad. But our government officials are not aware that the Federal Communications Commission, without statutory authority, is proposing to expand its taxation and regulation of the Internet.

The relationship between the Internet and government has become a useful barometer of personal and economic freedom. Oppressive governments use the Internet to oppress political enemies, censor ideas, and spy on citizens. The United Nations and other international organizations see the Internet as an untapped opportunity for tax revenues and regulations to support political favorites.

It will only depend on which bully, gangster, shakedown operation gets the jump on running the scam.

Funny, though, that Progressives really seem good at convincing themselves of their own propaganda.

Which article of The Constitution gives a federal bureaucracy the power to tax and regulate?

Repealing that power should be a central plank of the incoming Congress and/or whoever runs for President in 2016.

FCC The RINO-controlled House of Representatives Plans Stealth Internet Tax Increase"

There !!!

Fixed it.

Thank you for referencing that article DeathBeforeDishonor1. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

The only federal government entity that the Founding States constitutionally authorized to initiate appropriations bills is the House of Representatives, evidenced by Clause 1 of Section 7 of Article I, the HoR controlled by RINOs since 2011. So given that this news is a month old, how convenient for incumbent House RINOs to front-end themselves as non-elected, constitutionally toothless FCC bureaucrats before Election Tuesday before trying to raise taxes on us.

And while a possible play on Congress’s Commerce Clause powers to justify such a tax comes to mind, such a tax increase arguably puts a price on the 1st Amendment-protected rights of free speech and peaceful assembly.

Again, a perfect issue for Republicans to run on; repealing the Gore tax.
