A 54-year-old man accused of peeping in a residential neighborhood was in custody Saturday after attacking a victim last night.

According to the Fontana Police Department, officers were sent 9:48 p.m. Friday to the 16200 block of Ramona for reports of an assault victim.

Once on scene, Ronald Davis, of Yucaipa, was taken into custody after resisting officer’s arrest.

Davis is accused of watching a 57-year-old female victim through her bathroom window while she showered that evening.

The victim’s husband ran outside to confront Davis while she called 911.

Davis allegedly assaulted the husband, and ripped the phone out of the victim’s hand and broke it.

He then proceeded to throw concrete statues at the couple.

When neighbors heard the commotion, they came outside to assist; however, Davis took off on foot.

Neighbors chased him around the block, where he was eventually caught, officers explained.

Officers explained there had been three past reports of Davis, who had been reportedly peeping into the area for years.

A few weeks ago, he was caught looking into a home, but escaped the area after being chased by neighbors.

Davis was treated for injuries before being booked at the West Valley Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon.

It was unclear if the victims sustained injuries during the crime.

Fontana is in an adjacent county, but yes, peeping toms throwing statues at irate husbands happens just about every day here in SoCal.

I had a guy peeping in my kids window one time. Well he was actually trying to get in.

He changed his mind when he saw my .45 pointed at him.

A statue tossing, peeping pervert.
Lawn gnomes?
If not, if he’s tossing concrete bird baths and what-not—this guy must be a real gorilla.
But the neighbors caught him and dusted him off. Probably tired of seeing his creep face in their windows.
