I went last night. I think I missed about the first 5 minutes. It starts slow. In fact I was getting bored and almost fell asleep. But once they lifted off into space it got very interesting. It did have a space odyssey 2001 kind of flavor to it. The effects were great. The plot line was intriguing and kept you guessing as to how it would end. It is not very action packed so if you are looking for a lot of action you will be disappointed. If I had to describe the movie in one word I would say cerebral. Oh and it is the kind of movie you might want to see again. (The Sixth Sense anyone?)
