Was there not an editor that looked her book over before it was published?
I'll counter with a rhetorical question: Is an editor / seller of books more interested in a pleasant narrative without controversial elements or a sensationalistic pack of outrageous statements?
I’m having a difficult time finding fault in this. No doubt that she was curious about why hers was so different.
Having watched the show, I would say that I have seen much more than enough of it myself.
