Put on your Groucho glasses and a hat. I won’t tell anyone that it is really you!

The neuter and release program in this county snips the ears, too. Only the most human-avoiding cats are turned loose, though-the majority end up at the weekend pet fairs at the farmers/flea market and are purchased for $75.00-the cost of neutering and shots-and go to homes-having lived feral, they are very good hunters, guaranteed to keep your home rodent free. The also tend to be affectionate and get along with other pets-grateful for a good home.

The only drawback to kittens is that they grow up to be cats.

I have put in a request for a kitten, and there are still three available...but I lack the things a kitteh needs...litter, box, toys, etc.
And I am so needy...

I hate selfies... anyways... this was from late September when Shit Rock and The Purr Monster were 8 weeks old. They wrassle all the time and I hate having to scoop turds... but they cuddle with me and are really good blood pressure medicine. Help me feel a bit less isolated as well

“We have a feral that recently adopted us but is terrified of getting near us.”
In June 2013 we brought in our kittens’ feral mother and she was basically a wild cat living indoors. (Thankfully, she did have perfect bathroom habits, is extremely sweet, and only scratches using posts.) Gradually she became more trusting. Finally, about a month ago she permitted us to pet her, but only for short periods of time as we walk along next to her, and not often. She’s coming around. Baby steps.

Congrats!
I don’t know what I can do to help you, but if you want to post a thread and ask for ideas I’d be happy to ping it.

CATS definitely were one of G-d’s better creations. My 2 kittehs must spend all the time I’m at work writing their script for the evening and rehearsing it before I come home. I don’t need a TV, I have CATS! Where else can one find such utterly beautiful, soft, cuddly, smart, totally adorable love sponges?

*snerk* Cats fight on their backs so they can bring all four feet into play. Or maybe they’re just lazy.
