The “Big Breakfast” when traveling is the only time I eat at McDonald’s. It’s not that good anyway. Waffle House doesn’t want me to excerise my Second Amendment rights and some of them have loud juke boxes anyway. The local Huddle House has a No Firearms sticker but I haven’t encountered them at other Huddle Houses on the road.
How long before they can get increased to $20 an hr?

Very Convincing.
It is now certain that the company will embark on efforts to “enhance worker productivity”, which is how they will provide PR cover for finding any and every way to sell more while maintaining headcount. The profit per employee metric will become far more important in corporate decisionmaking.
But in reality this is always the way it has been: the substitution of capital for workers. That is the only way that workers can be paid more because they are worth more.
Leftists will hail this as a victory, but when combined with the ObamaCare mandates, this will only reduce the number of jobs at the very low and entry levels at fast food chains.
Maybe they should go to $15? Maybe they should have half as many, more skilled employees? Of course, that means NO JOBS for unskilled people. Of course, that means MORE people on welfare.
“In order to balance the books on this important change, we will transition to zero employees, effective this week.
The $15 per hour we would have paid to employees, will instead be used for restaurant robots.”
