(Vanity) Laura Ingraham on Fox News: Be Tough on China Trade
(Pro-America Trade Vanity) | November 3, 2014 | (me)

Posted on 11/03/2014 5:59:07 AM PST by Cringing Negativism Network

Wow.

Finally, someone said it. America needs to do something to bring our trade balance with China, back into balance.

Wow.

Laura Ingraham this morning on the show just preceding Maria's show, said it. She said it clearly, and was completely unapologetic about it.

America needs to do something to bring back American industry.

TOPICS: Business/Economy; Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: america; china
She laid out the election.

She predicted the Republicans would win.

However then she went on to predict Republicans would then AGREE WITH DEMOCRATS AND INCREASE IMMIGRATION.

And that America would continue to bleed trade to China, as we continue to do NOTHING about improving America's own trade picture.

And eventually, we will run someone like Jeb in 2016.

And will accomplish absolutely nothing, from tomorrow's election victory.

She is the first mainstream American I have heard to say we need to bring back American jobs, to America.

The first.

(Well Trump says such things on occasion, but just around the first).

America we need a party which emphasises America.

American trade. American businesses.

And America, growing.

GOP stop selling out your own country.

Bring back American jobs.

GOP bring back American jobs.

Way to go, Laura Ingraham.

Oh maybe I need to be a bit more specific.

Maria Bartiromo’s show on Fox News.

The preceding show was Imus’

Now Maria is interviewing some yo-yo on her show, with yet another “sell out America to China” idiot on.

But Laura Ingraham deserves strong kudos for her stand. Stand up for America.

Eventually the country is going to turn on Chamber of Commerce-style Big Crony Capitalists.

Either the GOP will give us someone who will take us back to TRUE Free-Market Conservatism, or we’ll elect the first Socialist hack who promises to take them all to the woodshed.

Well there is another possibility. Or maybe this is what you were referring to when you said “we’ll elect the first Socialist hack who promises to take them all to the woodshed.”.

Right now, the democrats seem to be in bed with the globalists.

That keeps them from winning even bigger election victories, but it keeps their monetary political base in place.

The GOP is sold out to the same globalists.

Everyone is sold out to the globalists, who have ZERO support for America’s strength in their hearts. Zero. They only want to sell us out.

Someone needs to stand up, and be for America.

There is a better than 50% chance, the democrats will do that, before the GOP does.

I don’t want that. I believe that will mean the end of America.

I want the GOP, to be for American jobs.

Right now, before the democrats stumble upon the issue.

Get the government off our backs and we’ll show the Chinese who can produce stuff. Fail to do that, and nothing else is going to work.

She is the first mainstream American I have heard to say we need to bring back American jobs, to America.

And, like you, she offers no solutions, just more benevolent bromides.

A lot of nada. Great.

Fox Business News, not Fox News.

(sorry)

But this is about a first.

America now runs a trade deficit every single year of 300 billion dollars, with China.

Every single year. Laura is among the first to say, there is something terribly wrong with that inbalance.

Bring back business to America.

Where is the GOP on this issue? This is an America-first issue.

Serious question

Why is there anything wrong with the imbalance?

China is the world’s factory for making Walmart crap.

What is wrong with than is that China now has the second-largest defense budget, and that is rapidly growing (unlike our own)

China has four or five times America’s population.

China is now the largest producer on the planet.

The largest.

America we need to bring back American production, to America.

Because jobs, make a country.

Our defense budget still dwarfs China. It is still not even close what we spend and what they spend. So I am not concerned there

Being China’s largest customer gives them incentive to work with us in the long run. You won’t ever anger your largest account.

This is a global economy now. Money moves between borders with the click of a mouse. We aren’t living in the 1930s anymore

I agree we are still in the lead, but all current trends are negative for America.

Americans cannot own things in China. Only 49%. Majority ownership belongs to Chinese. Americans also cannot immigrate to China. China is a gigantic, closed, communist nation. Yet...

Americans are running a MASSIVE trade imbalance with China now, and have been for years.

China now has one aircraft carrier. They have one more being planned, maybe even three. Their are rapidly becoming more sophisticated in every field.

I agree we are leading, our leading aircraft are still superior to China, but our lead is being rapidly chipped away by our own trade practices.

China has a massive, very educated workforce. It will change, and grow in its technological level and not stop.

Our own trade balances, are against America’s own interests.

We need to balance trade with China.

Somehow. Now.
