The first thing the clinic counselor does is ask the gal when she had her last period. The girl responds and the clinic phone person says, "Hold on a minute." Then using the wheel calendar she figures out what the gal's due date will be. Then the clinic worker says. "Your due date is May 3rd."

What the clinic worker did was to 'quantify' the gal's worst fear - that she is indeed pregnant.

This is called "The Hook" and it is used to make sure that the gal goes directly into that clinic and will not call another clinic.

It is a sales technique.

Notice how evil it is. The girl thinks she is pregnant when she may not be. She will go in and get an abortion even if she isn't pregnant.

That begs the question - how many women got abortions who were not really pregnant?

She is left with the guilt and shame when she may not have been pregnant at all.

That is truly evil.

Don’t give them time to think about it? The priests of Baal probably had the same policy.
