My computer changed time, it's new. My phone did not.
Next Sunday, November 2.
Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014 goes back to standard time
2:00 AM on
Sunday, November 2
Nov.2 Guess your computer has gone “Back to the Future” before it’s time. :>]
Next weekend. Current time in Wisconsin is 9:49 am. Today is Sunday, October 26th, 2014.
Are you sure you’re logged in? ;)
Unpatched Windows XP?
Depends on where you are. In America next week. Other parts of the world yes. I’d check your computer’s regional settings, it might be confused about where it is.
If greybeard has a new computer, maybe there’s one of those plastic pseudo display things stuck to the screen. :>} Just teasin’ GB.
My comp now shows 8:53 central time.
Where are you? Russia went back to standard time today.
There might be a difference if the location set on your computer and your phone are different. I know Arizona doesn’t observe DST, but California does. It causes some confusion.

No
Now my comp has switched back and shows 10:07 central.
Two things to check (I’m assuming you’re on Windows).
First right click on that clock, choose Date and Time look at your Time Zone section (bottom half, date and time tab), make sure that’s actually where you are.
If that doesn’t fix it go to Control Panel, Region and Language, then the Location tab. Make sure it know you’re in America.
If both of those are right I’m at a loss.
Under current law, DST ENDS first Sunday in November, and BEGINS on the second Sunday in March.

Next week. You have an old phone.
Is it only we in AZ who find it odd that "Standard Time" is observed for less than half the year? I mean, if it's "Standard Time", why isn't it observed for most of the year?
In Arizona we don't engage in the practice of changing our clocks forward and back during the year, except on the Navajo Res. The Navajo still engage in the superstitious practice of changing the hour settings on their clocks twice a year which they believe it has great benefits for casino revenues.
Admittedly but I have a new computer and it has now changed itself back to the correct time.
