Worse than JFK or Dulles? I’m embarrassed when I think of either one being a foreigner’s first impression of America. Not that run down and poorly run is a misimpression these days. Of course God knows whether the Brits feel the same about Heathrow or the French about De Gaulle. They should.

Newark was a hell hole in a bigger Hell Hole, the surrounding area in the late 1960’s and 1970’s. I can only imagine how bad it is now.
