After viewing it several times, it appears that an effeminate individual in a pink shirt at an airline counter was trying to provoke an individual standing in line behind him. It appears he was taking his photograph and the situation escalated from there.

That how I see it, what do other FReepers think?

Not my take. The guy that got hauled off should have been beat by the people that first took him down before the COPS arrived.

Also real good to see people instantly jump in to help instead of this stuff you hear where people just stand and watch someone get beat up.

the fancy man in pink did seem to be taking direct video or pics of the guy behind....we don't know what happened before the filming but I would bet the fancy man agitated the big guy a bit too much, and some American men are just getting sick of putting up with stuff like that....

The video in question did not start until after a noticeable altercation was already in progress. Do you really think pink shirt guy was intent on harassing big dufus guy? He likely was taking pics or vids to document the abuse he was receiving from behind, which had the unfortunate effect of pushing dufus guy's turbo button.

It’s not even clear if the guy who was attacked was actually gay. A pink shirt in itself is not proof of anything. Also, he appears to be well into middle age, 50’s or 60’s. How often does someone in that age range try to stir up trouble with a stranger?
