OTTAWA Police motorcycles will escort the body of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo down the the Highway of Heroes on Friday afternoon.
The motorcade will travel to his hometown of Hamilton, Ont., about an hour southwest of Toronto.
Route: -Depart McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel at Hunt Club Rd and Albion St S in Ottawa -Down Hunt Club Rd west to south on Hwy 416 to W on Hwy 401 -Exit Brock Rd to Hwy 407 -Follow Hwy 407 to Highway 403 to the Main St. exit. From Main St. E. continue to King St E to the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home,1774 King Street East, Hamilton, ON

Just rips me apart. Saw another article with photos showing his beloved dogs waiting for him to come home. People who don’t cry after reading these articles and seeing the photographs must be made of stone.
By the way, I don’t cry easily.
Rest in peace, Corporal, and may God comfort your loved ones.
But kudos for Canada doing it in the cities too!
I hope the dogs stay together and go to a loving home. I’m sure they will, poor babies. RIP Cpl. Gone but never forgotten.

I do too. Perhaps his family will take the dogs in. If not, I’m sure there will be no shortage of people who will step up.

My heart bleeds for that little boy. If I understand correctly, it appears his Mom did not want to part of his life, now this!
