Reminds me of an old telephone gag we a friend of mine pulled when we were teens.
He would call a random number and say “Is Larry there?”
“No, there is no one named Larry here”
He would wait a while and call the same number, this was BEFORE caller ID. and say “Is Larry there?”
“No, there is no one named Larry here”
On and on for about five times during the day.
Then in the late afternoon he would call the same number and say “This is Larry, have I had any calls?”
We had so many phone gags back then. Now you can’t do that, they all have caller ID. LOL We also used to sneak out at night and TP our friends’ yards. We weren’t into driving around and making out back then, or using drugs.
It was a simpler time.
We also used to hide behind the trash dumpster at my parents’ grocery store and one of the older kids would toss out an old coffee can. Everyone drove with windows open in the summers, no AC in our cars back then...
When the driver got out to see if he lost a hub cap, we all laughed really loud from behind the dumpster. Back then kids could stay out way past dark. No gangs, no criminals, just naughty funny kids....
Good stuff. We had the same kind of fun in high school. Had a blast.

Fightin’ Joe is STILL guns a blazing, regardless of how much nonsense comes out of mainstream hippy dippy weather-guys.
This winter will be colder in the East, warmer in the West, and don’t let them tell you otherwise!

Thank you for posting Joe Bastardi. I enjoy it every Saturday.
I think he was providing a counter to the NOAA forecast of a warm winter in the eastern US, but he lost me in going back and forth on all of the troughs and ridges and climate models vs historical data.

BUMP for my date with Joe, tonight. :)
For several weeks now J.B. has made his case, showing a trough west of Alaska, which he says will make it colder in the East, warmer in the West this winter.
Now along come other hippy - dippy forecasters RELOCATING that trough further south & east, and so reversing Joe’s forecast.
Naturally, Joe is not happy with that and tries to prove them wrong.
Of course he acknowledges that only God knows what’s really going to happen.
