US health care workers who had contact with the dead ebola victim are now banned from traveling on planes, ships, trains etc. But West Africans who’ve had contact with ebola victims are still allowed to come to America

Because we don't want to offend dee revin Al and dee revin Jessie or any of the millions of POS ignorant people who think the same way they do and still worship 0bama by banning (HORRORS) black people from bringing in diseases that Americans are unwilling to bring in themselves.

So now Mexico is staying cleaner than the USA is. Maybe I’ll move there.

Last I heard on another thread that she was on a shuttle boat...and REFUSED permission to re-board the cruse ship or land in Belize....

So I guess....lost at sea.

WE always buy trip insurance

Ha...Trip Insurance ain't going to do you any good....

If the port doesn't allow you to disembark.....and the cruse boat also doesn't allow you back on board.

and is currently on a ship tender unable to return to the cruise ship

Ha......the two of them ....possibly infected with Ebola....are on a SHIP TENDER....off Belize City

Looks something like this:

Maybe the Tender boat can get to USA before running out of food/diesel/etc...

If she wanted to lose all of her money she could have done that. Cruise lines are notorious for NOT giving refunds for just about anything.

Had she advised them, I'm sure she would have been denied boarding, so that would fall to her insurance, presuming she purchased it. They might fall back on the pandemic exclusion in many of these policies, but my guess she'd be paid. Worst case get a credit for a future cruise.

If they'd asked the question about ebola and she'd lied, she'd have a bigger problem, given the fact that these passengers are probably going to get a credit.

Probably more than two. Bet there’s at least two crew and a nurse. Wonder where they’ll be quarantined.

why should she have to ask? This disease is known world over as the ‘nurse killer.’ A fever of any level after working intensively with an ebola patient should be self-explanatory. If she called the CDC ‘several times” she was doing nothing more than trying to reinforce her own denial process but at the same time she was delaying the start of her treatment which might have saved her life. If she was symptomatic prior to her first flight, she should have gone to the hospital she worked at for a blood test prior to flying instead of relying on a voice over the phone. Denial is a powerful emotion. We saw the same level of denial in Sawyer and we’ll see it again.

Other countries don’t seem to have a problem banning travel by potentially infected travelers.

How pitifully stupid we are that Turd World nations have better policies than we do. Of course, the stupidity was in electing an America-hating, narcissistic assclown in the first place, and then re-electing him expecting that we'd be better off.

Those specimens were sent though the tube system so the hospital is concerned with the virus spreading throughout the hospital. Last I heard, THPH is all but shut down and not admitting patients. That’s going to be a very hard financial hurdle to overcome.

I don’t understand the hoopla, either. Most likely she is sea sick. But then the ship’s doctor may know more than is being put out there.

Maybe we should be following what Senegal did to be declared Ebola free by the WHO, instead of appointing a RAT party hack lawyer to be our EbolaCzar:

Were existing patients moved to other facilities or are they still being cared for at Presbyterian? Do you know? If moved a new potential set of issues.

Fricking amazing how quick other countries are acting to keep Ebola out of their countries.

A prime example is how Senegal has kept ebola out of their country.

Maybe we should be following what Senegal (and Belizian and Mexican authorities in this case did ) did to be declared Ebola free by the WHO, instead of appointing a party hack lawyer to be our EbolaCzar:

“Not sure why so many suspect health workers are so cavalier.”

They have been lied to by their employers and CDC.

Ebolagate has only really exploded this week.

The Texas Department of State Health Service issued a travel ban late Thursday, restricting travel for any person who entered Duncan’s room at the Dallas hospital. More than 70 health workers are banned from travelling via public transportation, including planes, ship, buses or trains. Visits to the grocery store, restaurants or theaters have also been banned for 21 days, the latest symptoms of the virus will show.

does this mean that Mexico will close its border with the USA and stop the illegals from invading? Should we add some signs along the Rio Grande - Ebola, EV-68, Leprosy, HIV quarantine area - stay away?

The CDC said YES it's ok. Blame the cdc and its political masters in washington (the turd in the white house)

It's fair to blame Obama, his CDC flunkies and the traveling nurse. Any medical professional who knows they may be infected with Ebola yet boards a plane while feverish is surely responsible for their own actions.

We’re a self entitlement nation, after all. A cruise ship vacation is way more important then the health and safety of others on that boat. I hope this women does have ebola.
