She is lucky. My sister was taken off a cruise ship there in August this year, and she languished four days in a third-world cinder-brick “medical physical” that Carnival utilizes for sick passengers - it is not much more than bricks according to her husband who is a Nurse at Fort Hood.

There are a lot of sharks lawyers in this country of ours. Has she contacted any of them? Sounds like the cruise line is the deep pocket!

I always purchase travel insurance when I am on a cruise or vacationing away from America. I know a pilot, who went to the islands to do some deep sea diving, who had to be repatriated after being shot and his family had to cough up $20,000.

And family knows not to contact me if they don’t purchase it and need help.
