This happened at my daughters very large high school last week. At the football game, the homecoming queen was announced, and she was a young lady with Down’s Syndrome. There was a thunderous roar from the students section, and they then started chanting her name. The girl was overwhelmed. It was quite touching and restored a bit of my faith in the upcoming generation.

I’m sure the students will forever have fond memories of the event when sharing their yearbooks with their friends and families.
