Accused Boston Common attacker held on $1M bail (time to outlaw pink-handle knives?)

The 34-year-old homeless man accused of a vicious attack on two park rangers yesterday in the Boston Common was ordered held on $1 million cash bail today.

Bodio Hutchinson pleaded innocent to numerous assault charges in the 4:36 p.m. alleged slashing that prosecutor Lynn Feigenbaum said left both rangers with five stab wounds each.

The fact that he used a “pink-handled knife” tells me that he was in touch enough with reality to know that it is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
