Texas Gov. Rick Perry is cutting short an economic development trip through Europe to return home as officials in his state work to stop the spread of Ebola.
He'd originally been scheduled to return Sunday, but Perry spokesman Felix Browne told CNN the three-term Republican governor will now fly back on Thursday.
His decision to cut short an economic development-focused trip through England, Germany, Poland and Ukraine comes after President Barack Obama called off plans for a fundraising trip to New Jersey and Connecticut on Wednesday when a second Dallas health care worker was diagnosed with Ebola.

Meanwhile Obama continues to golf and golf while allowing Ebola victims a free pass into the United States.

When we heard W has departed Dallas for his ranch or miles away in Maine, we’ll know the fat lady has already warmed up her vocal cords. Deer season starts Nov. 1 but if he heads south sooner than 3 days ahead of that, it might be a tell.
Nope, pure politics. Perry is now certainly running for president in 2016. There is no other reason for him to return. What’s he going to do when he gets back here? suit up and start caring for Ebola victims himself? This is purely for show.
Phil Mickelson, Roger Federer and Obama go to a bank on Martha's Vineyard to cash a check, but none have any ID.
The teller says he can't cash the check without identification. Mickelson hit a golf ball into a cup across the lobby. The teller cashed the check. Federer put a tennis ball into the same cup with a drop shot. The teller cashed the check. The teller looks at 0bama and says "Is there anything you can do to prove to us who you are?"
Obama replies, "I don't have a clue." The teller cashed the check.
So wrong. He is showing leadership.
