Riot-gear clad police arrested at least 17 people on Sunday after they refused orders to disperse from a spontaneous sit-in outside a convenience store in St. Louis during a weekend of otherwise peaceful protests against police violence.
Thousands of people are staging protest marches, vigils and other demonstrations in the St. Louis area this weekend, calling for the arrest of a white police officer who shot dead an unarmed black teenager in August.
Another fatal shooting of an African-American teenager by an off-duty cop last Wednesday has further inflamed tensions. Sunday's arrests were in the same neighborhood where Wednesday's shooting occurred.

Where is that Highway Patrol Captain who was put in place at Ferguson, deemed the Savior because those were his people, then the riots persisted. Haven’t heard a thing about him going into St. Louis and having a talking with his peeps.
The protesters took over a private property parking lot. They should have expected the response that St. Louis City gave them.
It’s not like they don’t have history with QT’s in the recent past.
The first step to a solution is so obvious as to be self-evident:
Stop giving them money.

They won’t let his butt in St. Louis City. City handles their own business and they don’t let people but up against themself like they did on Friday night in Ferguson. That was extremely dangerous.
If that crowd would have surged forward, there would have been many dead or injured officers.
They got smart tonight and put up police tape.
Why bother? Let them throw rocks and tear the whole place down. It’s their community, they should be able to burn it to the ground if they want.
Just not one dime to rebuild it.

Seems like it has been that way for quite a while.
I think it is the author/poster ' s way of indicating that the rock-throwers are claiming they didn't do it. There was video of it, and they are claiming the video lied to cover for the police.
What I want to know is where in the heck are they getting all the rocks ?
