They have a right to try to protect themselves. This is just the beginning.

I despise unions, but I was tempted to side with this group, as they are addressing a health concern that the Obama administration is refusing to deal with.
But, as I read the article, I got the impression that this is most likely theater by Big Labor agents trying to get their greedy claws into these workers. The article mentioned that they are “trying to unionize”. I wonder how many of the picketers were actually plane cleaners, as opposed to Big Labor professional picketers with no connection to the plane cleaners.

A bit late for them to start worrying today about blood and vomit. They’ve been cleaning ick from planes since planes were invented. Granted, most of the ick won’t kill them. Since, AIDS, they should at least know to take precautions. There is no way to protect them from Ebola unless they constantly are in full hazmat suits. Of course, they’d be at less danger if airlines themselves stop all flights to hot zones.
American union workers- doing the job their government won’t do
