Wondering if they just got too warm? Maybe would not have mattered, article does say that the batch had too much yeast I suppose... but, when I was a kid we used to make home made root beer, it was made with yeast and needed to be refrigerated after the required sitting time or it would start popping caps off. Really surprised to hear bottle caps holding on to actually break the bottles though.
Some of these marijuana-infused “edibles” manufacturers have no experience with the products unless they were selling them as medical marijuana already.
