I would agree the post needs more information, such as, where the patient is currently, does the hospital have a room that can treat the patient and protect the staff, etc.
However, she did qualify it with ‘a friend working at the hospital told me’, which is fine as far as it goes.
Needs more information and corroboration (send the tip to a local news station, for example, and let them check it out?)
No “known” cases is a far different thing than no cases at all.
Third-world cesspools are not known for their sterling facilities and record-keeping/reporting.
“Well I hope its not, but this whole thing is really causing a lot of trouble.”
That’s what happens when anyone who shows up at an airport is allowed in, especially if they are a ‘minority’.
So anyone who pukes at any time from any country should be treated as an Ebola case. We’ve had it in the US, Spain and other “1st” world countries so why stop at 3rd world.
Better yet, treat everybody every where as an ebola case.
I’ve been flying for over 25 years myself, some of those years several trips per week. Flew all over the midwest and south, turbulence, thunderstorms. Had several rough flights, one that had me wondering if I’d live through it. Never saw anyone break out the airsickness bag. In bad turbulence, the people get very quiet, very pale and have a death-grip on the armrests. Not at all like the movies.
