Drudge has the “bumper sticker” of the word “EBOLA” with the Obama “swoosh” as the “O,” at the top of the page. It and a couple of similar images have been bouncing around Facebook for a few days.

Next time you need a car cleaned, hire a professional.

More likely he got it in the back seat of a car.
Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Ashoka was an Indian raja. There is also the famous song Ashokan Farewell (the theme of Ken Burns’ The Civil War) and in fact Ashokan is a famous music resort in the north east.

Just heard Mukpo is getting a blood transfusion donated by Dr Brantly. They are hoping the antibodies developed by Brantly will help Mukpo fight off the Ebola.

If you have cuts in your hands you can get ebola from your hands making contact with the virus... which can live outside the body for some time....

Why do they tell us you can only get it through human contact? This guy got it from vomit contact.

CDC and Government medical bureaucracies are under the impression this is the AIDS virus and their job is to 'fight ignorance and fear'.
They are wrong. The CDC is WRONG. It's NOT 1981. This is NOT the AIDS virus.
This IS THE EBOLA VIRUS AND WHAT THE CDC NEEDS TO FIGHT IS THE EBOLA VIRUS...

They mean it’s not technically ‘airborne’... but if you were to touch an elevator button that had Ebola on it - (from a rider 10 minutes earlier) - then rubbed your eyes - you could die from ebola.
