Respectfully have to disagree. It's a personal attack on another FReeper, and has nothing whatsoever to do with this thread or its topic.

If humblegunner has a problem with FlJoePa he can take it up in private FReepMail without crudding up an unrelated thread.

I'm not defending FlJoePa, you understand. I have very strong opinions on that Penn State topic too.

I'm just saying this thread has been hijacked with a rude personal attack that has no relevance to the thread and is unworthy of FR.

In my opinion as one who doesn't have the gravitas of a long-tenured FReeper, humblegunner is one the bright lights of this site, with a rapier wit that triggers lively conversation. He's an iconoclast in the tradition of H.L. Mencken but, without fail, advances the cause of Conservatism. He and I have tangled in the past over his thoroughly rotten taste in music -- he doesn't like C&W. Horrors! :) But in spite of that failing, he's a good FRiend to the finest FReepers (onyx, TheOldLady and others of the first rank), takes good care of his cat and, most significantly, our gracious host likes him.
