When Abby Johnson quit her job as the director of a Planned Parenthood abortion business in Texas, it sent ripples through the abortion industry. As someone who had received awards for her work, Johnson was well-connected within the Planned Parenthood system.
Naturally, her decision to leave her job directing an abortion facility and embrace a pro-life position caused staff at other abortion clinics to reconsider their own place of employment. She has since helped dozens of abortion clinic staff who have already left or are considering leaving their jobs at abortion facilities.
abbyjohnson5As Abby shared on her Facebook page today, Monday marks the 5th anniversary of her leaving the abortion business.
Five years ago, I turned in my resignation to Planned Parenthood. No notice was given. I simply wrote that I was leaving for moral reasons. I remember walking out of our back gate, hearing it slam shut for the last time and knowing that my life would never be the same, she says. I left with no assurance. I had no idea where my next paycheck would come from. I didnt know what my next step would be. But I knew that I had to leave. Was it scary to leave my big salary? Yes. Was I nervous that my pro-choice friends would turn on me? Yes and they did.

If I had stayed, I would currently be the COO of the 3rd largest Planned Parenthood in the country. I would be bringing in an annual salary that currently takes me 4-5 years to make, Johnson adds. So, was it worth it to walk out? You bet it was. It was worth every worry, every hardship, every tear. It was worth it because it was right.
Five years ago today, I took a left out of my Planned Parenthood clinics driveway and drove next door to our local prolife office. Why did I go to them? Because they had shown me kindness. Because they had always told me that they would help me. Because they had ways shown that they genuinely cared about me., Johnson continues. Can we love people out of abortion facilities? You better believe it.
It makes me emotional just thinking about how much my life has changed in this short amount of time, Johnson concludes.
The vitriol she experienced from the baby killers would make a good story, i bet.
She has already talked of it in her story “Unplanned”. What a nightmare.
GOd Bless her.
She is also an example to the other workers who will throw up the red herring argument “Well if abortion becomes illegal are you going to put the people who did them in jail?”
The left can only exist via intimidation and force.
eventually she will find her way here and spend the day reading comments from people who tell us how both candidates in any election are no good, lousy ... everyone is a RINO ... and America is lost .... and why voting is useless ...
“The left can only exist via intimidation and force.”
The left is all about intimidation and force.
And that all women are evil ... don’t forget that. There’s a reason the “War on Women” meme has legs. Even women who are short on common sense sometimes recognize when someone despises them
