VIDEO: Former N.Y. State Assemblywoman Gabriela Rosa sentenced to year behind bars — hid income, had sham marriage to stay in U.S.

Rosa, the first Dominican-born woman elected to the Assembly, was sentenced Friday for immigration and bankruptcy fraud.

The first Dominican-born woman elected to the New York State Assembly was sentenced Friday to a year and a day behind bars for immigration and bankruptcy fraud.

Gabriela Rosa, 47, wept on a friend's shoulder as she left Manhattan Federal Court surrounded by supporters chanting, “Gabriela Rosa! Viva Nacional!”

U.S. District Court Judge Denise Cote, who locked reporters out of the courtroom after Rosa's supporters took every available seat, could have given Rosa, a first offender, no jail time.

Instead, she told her to report to federal prison Nov. 14 and tacked on three years' probation.

Another example besides B. Hussein of an illegal holding public office.

This is unbelieveable, on the other hand it's New York city so it is believeable. She sneaks into the country, pays someone $8000 to marry her so she could get faux citizenship, is elected to the NY Assembly because of course it's New York city, liberal sewer hole of the east coast. Defrauds people out of money, is exposed as a fraud gets jail time, will probably do a few months because it's New York city the liberal cesspool of the east coast, and when she is paroled she will NOT be deported! Why? Because it's New York city, the liberal cesspool of the east coast.

She’ll be reelected as a “hero”. Probably to Congress or a supreme court justice. Streets, aircraft carriers and schools will be named after her. More “no mas grapes” type of bs.

She had all the earmarks of a solid democrat, but she got caught, usually the democrats can rescue such a highly qualified rising star but on this rare occasion they failed.

Rest assured within a short time after her release, she will be back in office.

A year for immigration and bankruptcy fraud? No deportation? I think I understand part of the problem.

So many firsts, so many felonies in our "leaders".

Cultural differences. Government positions can be viewed as both service and opportunity. They're focusing on the latter.

Just wait a minute.

Her name is close enough to Rosa Parks that some racism has to be involved.

She's innocent. She's a Democrat.

How did this Dominican Republic lowlife Rosa get the votes to gain public office? Read on.

Votino vote fraud is rampant---(1) lying under oath, (2) voter address frauds, (3) forging petitions for public office, (4) absentee vote fraud...... etc, etc, etc.

ETHNIC SOLIDARITY REARS ITS UGLY HEAD
The woes of NY State Democrat candidate Nelson Castro---a Dominican Republic native
---began in 2008, when the NY Board of Elections began examining Castro’s eligibility to run in the 86th district.....due to allegations that numerous voters were registered at the same addresses as his home, and the home of a campaign worker.

During an Aug. 7, 2008, hearing, Castro lied under oath, denying he knew the fraudster-- one of whom was his campaign organizer.

The candidate-selection committee ignored red flags b/c latinos were colluding---determined to put as many Dominican Republic natives on the ballot to increase latino "gimmee" power in Albany.

The Democrat selection committee then anointed Dominican Castro, a felon, as the Democrat candidate. Castro's extensive rap sheet was not considered a deterrent for public office.

The NY candidate selection committee used corrupt Dominican standards to give Castro the nod---with no compunctions about corrupting the US system.

The fact that illegal Dominican Republic immigrants registered to vote using Castro's home address, means they are probably registered at their own addresses, as well.

How many times did these Dominican latinos vote?

Castro was never nailed on this.

THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC'S STRANGLEHOLD ON US POLITICS MUST BE EXPOSED

POLITICO'S KEVIN CIRILLI reported 3/6/13 that Sen. Robert Menendez (Dem-NJ) said it isn’t necessary for him to return to the Dominican Republic after a judge there---looking into underage prostitution allegations----indicated that he wants to hear from the New Jersey Democrat or a representative on his behalf.

“We’ll have our lawyer look at it, but the bottom line is they don’t need me to pursue all of the interests and issues that lie within the Dominican Republic,” Menendez told The New Jersey Star-Ledger. “I don’t know what I could tell them that would change anything.”

Menendez has been mired in controversy amid claims that he visited with underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic while staying with Salomon Melgen, a Florida doctor and campaign donor. Menendez has denied the allegations.

Menendez has maintained all along that he never paid prostitutes for sex, said he is looking forward to whatever evidence emerges from courts in the Dominican Republic to vindicate him.

==========================================

HERE'S A FEW SUGGESTIONS:

<><> check out Menendez’s Senatorial “earmarks;”

<><> Keep track of transfers from financial accounts held by his lobbying gal-pal;

<><> any billion dollar Senate appropriations to the Dominican Republic earmarked “for the children?”

<><> has Obama dropped several hundred billion foeign aid tax dollars on the Dom/Repub as a token of his gratitude for saving Menendez (avoiding the dreaded Christie appointment)?

<><> the kiddie/prostie denial deal could involve a chunk of Menendez/Melgen's port “security” action—--(big bucks from drug cartels to smuggle drugs in Dominican port cargo?).

===================================================

Ace WNBC-TV investigative reporter, Jonathan Dienst, is investigating Menendez's widespread corrupt activities (not in NJ but in the Third World). Dienst did the towering investigation of NJ Sen Robert Torricelli which forced the crook out of office which aired in a 45-minute long segment on broadcast TV.

Dienst himself has said "....the investigation of Senator Torricelli’s alleged corruption was an extraordinary exercise in journalism; going out and spending about six months on that story working almost non-stop digging and digging, trying to find corroboration to allegations that the senator had an improper relationship with a convicted felon. So we were out meeting with merchants, meeting with defense lawyers, meeting with investigators, members of Congress, and meeting with anyone who might have information about the senator’s alleged wrong doing."

"We obtained documents, tapes and materials and it was at a very important time. The election was coming up, the balance of power weighed in the balance and the fact that we were able to show and highlight some of the senator’s activities so that the voters knew. That was an incredible story to be a part of."

I guess THIS blonde won't be having "more fun" in the FEDERAL POKEY.

I BETCHA she gets re-elected to a post where having a felony conviction doesn't matter.

To the party that insures her win. :o)
It's MY guess that she didn't do this all by her lonesome and had PLENTY of backers.

“she was surrounded by supporters”’

Who are probably 100% illegal as well. I know a lot of Hispanics and a lot of them are really ticked off about this illegal crap. I was born here in New York from Irish immigrant parents. If Irish illegals came here on the scale that Hispanic ones do I would be ticked off as well, especially if it was cutting into my job prospects. I wish to hell Republicans would get their act together and go hardcore against illegals and amnesty because that is what the MAJORITY of the citizens want. People are sick to death of this illegal crap and Republicans could obliterate Democrats in every election if they would just go hardcore against amnesty and this coddling of illegals.
