NBC cameraman with Ebola flying back to US
By Chris Perez, Joe Tacopino and Post Wires
An American cameraman helping to cover the Ebola outbreak in Liberia for NBC News has tested positive for the virus and will be flown back to the United States for treatment. NBC News President Deborah Turness said Thursday the rest of the NBC News crew including medical correspondent Dr. Nancy Snyderman will be flown back to the U.S. and placed in quarantine for 21 days in an abundance of caution. The freelance cameraman has been working in Liberia for three years for Vice News and other media outlets, and has been covering the Ebola epidemic. He began shooting for NBC on Tuesday. The network is withholding his name at his familys request.

NBC: NO hazmats for stringers.
Only for those connect to,
and serving directly, Master Obola.
No "exchange" necessary, only contact with the virus, primarily through contact with bodily fluids, including sweat, from an infected person.
No "up close & personal" required.
The virus doesn’t remain airborne for hours, just minutes. Still, even small traces left on surfaces are enough to infect. There’s many ways the cameraman got infected.
yahoo sez its this guy...
Ashoka Mukpo
Welcome, the more the merrier.
Gee that’s good to know. And is “The One” banning any flights from these West African countries? Nope! So for all we know right now 100s of infected could be roaming around in the country.
How clever. We transmit a deadly virus to America by sending a bunch of reporters to cover the disease and then fly them back as soon as they get sick.
Speaking of sick, too bad they don’t quarantine everyone at MSNBC and turn out the lights.

Story is getting out.
As I understand it the airborne aspect relates to virus particles going airborne in bodily fluids expelled during sneezing or coughing. If these particles land on you and are subsequently introduced into your body or directly inhaled you can become infected.
1. Destroy its health care.
2. Start a plague.
I think this photographer is a MUSLIM....at least it sounded like a Muslim name.
Ashoka Mukpo....is that a Muslim name?? He looks Muslim.
Great. How many troops did we send to Liberia? Something like 3000?
That's not what the CDC told me and the rest of the country yesterday...you must be mistaken.

Absolutely disgusting isn’t it. Can you imagine being deployed there? WHAT the hell are US troops going to do? Shoot the virus? This guy is blatantly trying to infect our troops and now the USA, he is an enemy of the United states and Congress continues to sit on its ass while this punk ass constantly goes on the attack. He will ban flights from the USA to Israel but not flights from Ebola infested countries to the USA. It doesn’t get any more blatant than that
Good Lord, calm down and stop implying things. First of all, that does not sound at all like a Muslim name and second of all, whatever his religion, he is an American citizen who seemed to have no intent of wrongdoing - just a guy who was based in Liberia when he became ill. He didn’t jump a plane and come back under false pretenses, he went to MSF, which diagnosed him, and NBC took it from there In deciding he’d come back to US.
ONE news person comes back from assignment with the Ebola virus so odumbo sends 8500 of our military people to solve the spread of the dreadful disease. To me that is asking for total elimination of all those unfortunate military people and whomever they come in contact with when/if they ever return. IMO, odumbo wants this and his actions have thus far proven it. Words cannot describe how much I despise him.
Call me skeptical but the guy is reported as a freelancer. He just started working for NBC this week. Tuesday to be exact. After less than a week on the job he is referred to as our cameraman. I pity the poor guy who will probably expire all the time breathlessly covered by NBC with breaking reports on the condition of their cameraman.
Sure, what’s one more? /ssssssssssssssss
